Mr. Kevin Harrington MD, MRCPI, MRCOG
Consultant and Senior Lecturer
in Obstetrics and Gynaecology

I qualified as a doctor in Dublin in 1982. I have been practising obstetrics (care of the pregnant woman) and gynaecology (non pregnant pelvic problems) since 1986, appointed as a Consultant in 1995. In obstetrics, my particular interest is in high Mr. Kevin Harrington MD, MRCPI, MRCOG
risk pregnancies and ultrasound, and have published widely in this area. I am currently director of the advanced obstetric ultrasound training programme at the Homerton Hospital.
In gynaecology I have a particular interest in the use of ultrasound in the diagnosis of problems, and the use of a minimal access (keyhole) approach to surgery. I'm also a minimal access laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery preceptor (trainer).

This website was created to help provide patients (and students) with a better understanding of the common symptoms and operations that are performed in obstetrics and gynaecology.
